COASTAL FASHION WEEK HAS BIG THINGS TO COME IN 2016

January 12-16, 2016

Mobile, Ala. – Presented by Exalte’ Magazine, Coastal Fashion Week is expanding to four cities in 2016, by adding New Orleans and Coastal Fashion Week Kids to the roster. CFW brings together the styles of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida in one week of fashion.

Coastal Fashion Week (CFW) hosts the fashions of the Coast’s most cutting-edge designers and high-style boutiques. In its inaugural year, CFW sold out three shows in Biloxi, Mobile and Pensacola. This success has led to the expansion of fashion week to include New Orleans as a venue for 2016!

Founder of Coastal Fashion Week, Kymberly Soulé said, “I was excited to add New Orleans in as a next step to expand Coastal Fashion Week. This allows us to have a more diverse set of designs and encompasses more of a true week of coastal fashion by having designs from four coastal states. We are excited to have designers coming from all over including other countries to be a part of Coastal Fashion Week.”

The Coastal Fashion Week will be held January 12-16, featuring a show in a different city each night, beginning in Mobile with a special preview night of Coastal Fashion Week Kids. Adults shows will be January 13 - 16 (New Orleans, Biloxi, Mobile and Pensacola).

Each night of runway shows will close with a charity presentation by Coats for a Cause, where each model will walk the runway in a fashionable coat he/she will donate to a local shelter. In 2015, over 100 coats were donated to Mobile’s Penelope House, a shelter for victims of domestic violence.

After parties will be hosted at each venue at the close of show; all ticket holders and media are welcome to join and mingle with the models and designers.

Tickets for the 2016 shows are currently on sale at www.coastalfashionweek.com.
